Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Proven experience with Cisco ASA, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls and configuring firewall rules.
• Strong knowledge of intrusion detection systems and network security principles.
• Experience using Splunk or similar SIEM tools for monitoring and analysis.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, and network protocols relevant to security engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Cisco ASA, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls and other network security appliances.
• Monitor network traffic and security alerts using Splunk to detect and respond to threats.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to remediate weaknesses.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security enhancements and support incident response.
