Job summary

Visa Hunt is seeking a Network Operations Analyst II to monitor and operate our global infrastructure, partnering with customers and internal teams to drive incident resolution and change management. You will help ensure reliable service through data-driven improvements.

You will provide 24x7x365 support, triage issues, analyze performance data, and coordinate with vendors across regions to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of routing, switching, tunneling, and MPLS.
  • Expert-level ability to perform post-event analysis.
  • Ability to function in multiple disciplines (UNIX, Mainframe, Production Control, File Transfer, etc.) with intermediate understanding in at least 3 areas.
  • Intermediate UNIX scripting and tool monitoring, JCL, MVS, batch scheduling, Tandem knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Globally partner with customers to deliver world-class technical support for the company's infrastructures and applications.
  • Provide 24x7x365 technical operations support for the global infrastructure, minimizing impact to customers and internal users.
  • Monitor the infrastructure and be a key stakeholder in incident and change management processes.
  • Regularly analyze data to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
  • Interact with customers, vendors, and support teams on a global scale.
  • Execute Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
  • Perform vendor management to ensure forward progress of incidents.
  • Monitor traffic, systems, and central site processing, addressing anomalies.
  • Conduct quarterly releases and patch rollout for European authorization system.
  • Route central site and customer traffic to minimize downtime and impact on brand and business.

  • Demonstrates the ability to function in 4 of the following disciplines: UNIX, Mainframe, Production Control, File Transfer, Single-Message, Dual-Message, or Network), and has intermediate-level understanding in at least 3 areas.
  • Intermediate UNIX scripting and tool monitoring, JCL, MVS, batch scheduling, knowledge of tandem technology.
  • Effective problem and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organization skills.
