Job summary

Diamond Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Program Manager/Consultant for a multi-year on-site engagement in the San Francisco/Burlingame area to lead planning, vendor coordination, risk management, and execution of a major airport network modernization program.

The role requires hands-on leadership of large-scale backbone upgrades, 400G deployment, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, and vendors, with four on-site days per week and security

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical program/project management experience leading large-scale, complex enterprise technology programs.
• Direct experience overseeing high-capacity network upgrades in mission-critical environments.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, architecture, vendor partners).
• Active PMP certification — must be verifiable.
• Demonstrated experience with risk/issue management and mitigation strategy development.
• Testing, validation, and readiness activities (lab validation, pilot deployments, field rollouts, operational acceptance).
• Vendor relationship, SLA, and contract deliverable management.
• Available on-site a minimum of 4 business days per week for the duration of the engagement.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain required security clearances, badges, and access credentials for a secure facility environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master project plans, WBS, schedules, and program roadmaps for a multi-phase network modernization program.
• Coordinate design reviews and maintain requirements traceability across technical and business teams.
• Oversee deployment sequencing, lab validation, field rollouts, and production readiness checks.
• Maintain risk, issue, and dependency registers with mitigation and escalation paths.
• Coordinate vendor delivery schedules and cross-team alignment.
• Lead operational readiness reviews, including runbook/SOP updates and monitoring integration.
• Support hardware lifecycle planning and end-of-service analysis
