Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. in Chicago seeks a Network Operations professional to provide 24x7 support for the company’s global production network infrastructure.

You will perform proactive monitoring and incident handling to minimize outages and maintain health of the network. Responsibilities include incident and problem management, coordinating CAB changes with Engineering, and ensuring service readiness for new deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field plus 3+ years experience.
• Knowledge of routing protocols and concepts (OSPF, BGP).
• Solid TCP/IP, Layer 2/3 switching knowledge.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
• Weekend and off-hours support required.

Responsibilities

• Incident management and proactive monitoring to prevent outages.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults to restore service quickly.
• Coordinate changes with CAB and Network Engineering.
• Handle service requests and pro-active maintenance for network health.
• Develop and contribute to knowledge base with solutions.
