Job summary

National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) is seeking a Network Operations Manager to oversee cloud and on-prem infrastructure, including Azure, AWS, VMware, and Active Directory. You will supervise Network Administrators, manage data centers at HQ and co-location, and ensure 24x7 availability.

The role requires strong leadership, documentation, and the ability to respond during incidents. The position is located in Plymouth Meeting, PA with partial remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computing or related field.
• Experience supervising a team and mentoring staff.
• 5–7 years in network and/or systems administration.
• Knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms is a plus.
• Relevant Azure/AWS certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administers Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
• Backups and upkeep of cloud-based systems
• Mentors and manages Network Administrator(s)
• Manages VMware and virtual hosts and servers at HQ and co-location
• Operates data centers at HQ and co-location sites
• Configures network devices, firewall, DNS/DHCP, and Active Directory
• Maintains file servers and data security monitoring
• Maintains VM backup environment and disaster recovery
• Monitors infrastructure and responds after hours when needed
• Approves Windows/app updates via NinjaOne and related tools
• Ensures updates are deployed to client machines
• Maintains hardware/software inventory and documentation
• Performs related duties as assigned
