Qualifications

• Experience managing statewide network operations and service levels.
• Knowledge of network architecture and security best practices.
• Ability to translate business language into technical specifications for non‑technical staff.
• Proficiency with Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word) and collaboration platforms (Teams, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements standards, procedures, and processes for the security and network operations group.
• Maintains consolidated statewide network operations and acts as the network architect.
• Maintains Daytona Beach network infrastructure.
• Maintains and upgrades patches including spyware and antivirus solutions.
• Provides server and workstation support.
• Troubleshoots network issues and supports routers/switches.
• Configures routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, and VoIP systems.
• Ensures security is a primary focus across IT duties.
