The role oversees countywide network infrastructure, servers, storage, and end-user devices while coordinating with constitutional offices.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with extensive lead experience, Florida driver license, and a major networking certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with four years of relevant IT experience.
• Or 8 years as a Lead Network Engineer.
• Valid Florida Driver License or must obtain within 30 days of residency in Florida.
• Major networking certification required.
• Security certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, plans, and coordinates work of staff; evaluates performance.
• Consult with CIO to identify systems/applications and coordinate staff.
• Oversee County network operations including switching, routing, and interconnectivity between offices.
• Designs, implements, and administers the overall network environment.
• Develop operational and forecast budgets for IT network operations.
• Work with Security Team to implement IT security measures.
