Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day routing and switching support using Cisco routers and switches.
• Manage routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, RIP) across LAN/WAN/CAN.
• Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from LAN through WAN to CAN.
• Cross-train across SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization.
• Ensure compliance with DoD standards and cybersecurity policies.
• Document outages and changes in ticketing system.
• Resolve a wide range of network infrastructure issues.
• Support 24x7 NOC including 12-hour shifts as needed.

Job description

Responsibilities * Providing day to day operational routing and switching support with hands on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches

• Must have experience with routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, etc…)
• Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN) through a Wide Area Network (WAN), to a Campus Area Network (CAN).
• Willingness to cross train and support multiple technologies in an operational environment including SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization.
• Support the system adherence to industry standards, DOD standards, DOD policies, DOD instructions, DOD directives, cybersecurity policies, and best commercial practices.
• Utilize ticketing systems for detailed documentation of outages and network change activities.
• Provide technical problem resolution for a wide range of network infrastructure problems or anomalies.
• This position requires flexibility to support 24×7 Network Operations including 12 hour shifts as required. Minimum Qualifications: * Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ce, CCNA Security, CySA+, etc.)
