Job summary

SMS DATA PRODUCTS GROUP, INC. is seeking a skilled NOSC network administrator to support a 24/7 enterprise environment. You will administer applications, systems and infrastructure, monitor security posture, and remediate vulnerabilities across NOSC networks and devices.

Responsibilities include server room maintenance, network design, incident response, backups, and end-user support. Candidates should hold an active Secret clearance and a related associate degree with 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Associates in related field and 3+ years’ relevant experience.
• Network+ OR CCNA certification.
• ITIL Foundation (can acquire within 60 days)
• Secret Level Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration, installation, operation, and maintenance support on applications, systems, and infrastructure equipment supporting NOSC networks.
• Monitor the NOSC networks security posture including STIGs, patching, vulnerability mitigation, and end-point protection.
• Execute remediation actions to ensure STIG compliance, patching, vulnerability mitigation and end-point protection compliance of NOSC networks devices and systems.
• Maintain server room including cabling, installation, and cleanliness.
• Engineer and maintain network layer architecture and systems design with diagrams and rack elevations.
• Monitor NOSC network and systems status using NOSC platforms and remediate outages as required.
• Coordinate ASIs for scheduled maintenance and manage NOSC spare parts inventory.
• Conduct and monitor data backup and recovery for servers and applications.
• Respond to and resolve tickets and incidents per NOSC policies.
• Provide desktop/client support for NOSC networks including imaging, troubleshooting, and peripheral installation.
• Create and manage user and cloud mail accounts.
