Job summary

The Exchange is seeking a Network Specialist to design, implement, monitor, and support the IT network infrastructure nationwide from its Dallas HQ. You will work on Cisco routers, switches, Meraki devices, and wireless systems, ensuring secure, reliable connectivity.

Ideal candidates have strong routing knowledge, experience with network upgrades, and the ability to isolate and resolve incidents promptly. Onsite role with on-call responsibilities and occasional TDY as needed.

Qualifications

• Four years of the following experience: Cisco networking systems support including routers and switches (Layer 2/3) and wireless networks.
• Operational knowledge of routing protocols; understand cause and effect of network changes and their application.
• Experience isolating network problems and restoring systems to operation.
• Experience upgrading and implementing networking systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Exchange enterprise network by applying routing protocols and proper network manipulation.
• Provide escalation support for IT Help Desk on networking problems.
• Gather requirements for networking needs and provide management reports.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for the network environment.
