Leidos in the United States is seeking a NOC Technician to support the DGOC operations 24/7. You will monitor network events, analyze alarms, and coordinate fault corrections while communicating with O&M teams and customers. A DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, and familiarity with routers/switches is essential. Availability for 24/7 shifts is required.
This position directly supports the DISA-provided GIG capabilities and services in the 24x7 DISA Global Operations Center (DGOC). The NOC Technician will be responsible for performing duties such as creating, updating, and monitoring incident tickets, providing situational awareness to leadership and affected communities, and communicating effectively with the O&M team and customers.
The NOC Technician will monitor network events and element management failures 24/7/365, analyze alarms, correlate fault information, identify impacts, isolate root causes, and coordinate fault corrections. They will also notify relevant contacts based on network incidents and coordinate with other service providers to track and restore service.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, or performance management, and proficiency in at least two of the following: routers, switches, crypto devices, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, Optical Switching.
Pay Range: $40,300.00 - $72,850.00
