Job summary

Conviso Inc. is seeking a VNOC Resiliency Specialist to support day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure monitoring, alert triage, incident routing, and first-line response.

This role requires approximately 3 years of experience in a NOC, SOC, IT Help Desk, IT Operations Center, or military operations environment, with the ability to work independently following established procedures during critical incidents.

Qualifications

• Monitor enterprise network, on-premises, and cloud dashboards using SolarWinds, Elastic, and APM.
• Triage incoming incidents, prioritize alerts, route issues to engineering teams.
• Provide first-line response during major incidents by following runbooks and SOPs.
• Monitor AWS and OCI health and service alerts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise network, on-premises, and cloud infrastructure dashboards using SolarWinds, Elastic, and APM.
• Monitor alerts and rapidly identify potential outages or system degradation
• Triage incoming incidents, prioritize alerts, and route issues to the appropriate engineering teams
• Provide first-line response during major incidents by following established runbooks and SOPs
• Monitor high-level health and service alerts across AWS and OCI
• Manage incident tickets and documentation in ServiceNow and Jira
• Maintain accurate incident timelines, shift turnover logs, and handoff documentation
• Support change windows by monitoring infrastructure and application health
• Coordinate with Incident Managers and technical SMEs during escalations
• Identify outdated procedures and help maintain accurate operational documentation

We are seeking a VNOC Resiliency Specialist to support day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure monitoring, alert triage, incident routing, and first-line response.

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with approximately 3 years of experience in a NOC, SOC, IT Help Desk, IT Operations Center, or military operations environment who is comfortable working independently and following established procedures during critical incidents.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor enterprise network, on-premises, and cloud infrastructure dashboards using SolarWinds, Elastic, and APM

• Coordinate with Incident Managers and technical SMEs during escalations
• Identify outdated procedures and help maintain accurate operational documentation

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of IT operations, NOC/SOC, Tier 1/2 Help Desk, technical support, or related experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Ability to remain calm and organized during outages or high-priority incidents
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with ServiceNow and/or Jira
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Elastic, or APM
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS and/or OCI
• Military operations experience in communications, cyber, logistics, or a related field is also valuable
