This onsite role supports FAA network services and requires rotating shifts to cover a 24x7x365 environment. The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Networking, or Information Technology and is prepared to obtain CCNA certification within 3 months of start date.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Networking or IT or recent graduate.
• CCNA certification or must obtain within 3 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for a large nationwide network within NOCC using network management and monitoring tools.
• Monitor alarm conditions to identify and minimize disruption to FAA network and perform root cause analysis.
• Analyze channelized/unchannelized T1/T3 and related technologies (Ethernet, IP, Frame Relay, ATM, WAN, LAN, SONET, TDM).
• Assist LECs/ILECs/IXCs to resolve WAN problems and support onsite field technicians remotely.
• Work in an onsite 24x7x365 NOCC environment with rotating shifts; on-site work required.
