Job Description

RSU 56 has an anticipated opening for a Network Manager to join our team. This hands‑on role involves providing technical support to students and staff, and managing the district’s data network to ensure schools are connected and running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or a two‑year degree in a related field OR a comparable combination of education and experience that demonstrates an equivalent level of preparation and knowledge.
• Other certifications and qualifications deemed appropriate (such as Network+, Security+, or CCNA).
• Must pass a background check (CHRC).

Nature of Work

The Network Manager will assist in the development of district and department goals and objectives; design, implement, and administer local and wide area network systems; provide high‑level technical support; supervise and train department staff; manage assigned projects; and provide leadership in the areas of district technology usage.
