Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of networking experience and at least 6 months in a lead or mentoring capacity, with strong skills across LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, and VPNs. You will guide a team while contributing technically and coordinating projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on networking experience in networking, network engineering, or infrastructure.
• At least 6 months of demonstrated leadership or lead-level experience, mentoring, project leadership, or supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day direction to networking and infrastructure team members.
• Mentor team members and coordinate assignments and priorities.
• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable, secure network solutions.
• Remain hands-on with network implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Support LAN/WAN, wireless networking, firewalls, VPNs, and related network technologies.
• Evaluate existing network architecture and identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex network incidents and drive resolutions.
• Participate in network architecture, capacity planning, upgrades, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Develop and promote network standards, processes, documentation, and best practices.
• Support monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with other tech teams and lead or coordinate technical projects involving networking.
