Qualifications

You must have 1.8 to 10 years of professional experience.
High-level teaming and communication skills to influence and persuade others.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting concepts to management.
Deep understanding of IP addressing and VLSM.
Experience designing and implementing Cisco SDA, DNAC with data center networking and cloud solutions.
Strong experience with monitoring tools: DNAC, ISE, PagerDuty, Nagios, ThousandEyes, CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix & Site24x7.
Deep understanding of LAN switching concepts including SDA, DNAC, ISE, VXLAN, ACI, fabric path, STP, VLAN, and VTP.
CCNA or higher certification.
Proficient with scripting: Python, Ansible, Perl, Terraform.
Cisco ACI, SDA, DNAC & ISE.

Responsibilities

Excellent communication and leadership skills; lead Contingent Workers, Partners and site resources to complete network refreshes.
Plan, configure, implement and document solutions in a complex network environment supporting cloud architectures.
Measure, optimize, and tune network performance to ensure reliability and high availability.
Support Cisco-centric LAN/WAN/WLAN environment: switches, routers, firewalls, security, wireless, ISE.
Undertake network orchestration and automation using Cisco ACI, SDA, DNAC with ISE integration, Python & Ansible.
Build BOMs, coordinate resources, track execution, and validate deployment/upgrades.
Work with teams to gather requirements, create specs and design LAN network solutions.
Supervise site installs, maintenance, upgrades or software enhancements for network needs.
Act as escalation point for operational issues and monitor for root causes.
Experience working in Agile methodologies or on an Agile team.

Job description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

1.8 to 10 years of professional experience.
2. High-level teaming and communication skills to influence and persuade others.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to management.
4. Deep understanding of Internet Protocol (IP) addressing and Variable Length Subnet Mask (VLSM).
5. Extensive experience on designing and implementing Cisco SDA (Software-Defined Access), DNAC with Data Center Networking Technologies and Cloud Solutions.
6. Strong experience with Monitoring and Alerting Tools: Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC), Cisco ISE, PagerDuty, Nagios, Thousand Eyes, CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix & Site24x7
7. Deep understanding of Local Area Network (LAN) switching technologies including; SDA, DNAC, ISE, VXLAN, ACI, fabric path, Spanning Tree, Virtual LAN (VLAN), and VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP) concepts
8. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification
9. Proficient with scripting technologies, including but not limited to Python, Ansible, Perl, and Terraform.
10. Cisco ACI, SDA, DNAC & ISE.

Roles & Responsibilities

Must have excellent communication and leadership skills. Needs to be confortable leading other Contingent Worker, Partners and site resources to the successful completion of network refreshes
Plan, configure, implement and document solutions in a complex network environment in support of new and existing cloud technology architectures.
Measurement, optimization, and tuning of network performance and ensuring that systems will run reliably and are highly available.
Support a Cisco centric LAN, WAN and WLAN environment. This includes Switches routers, firewalls, security, wireless & ISE.
Deep understanding of network orchestration and automation using Cisco ACI, SDA & DNAC with ISE integration, Phyton & Ansible.
Build BOM, coordinate resources, track execution, and validate deployment/upgraded equipment/site.
Work with various teams to gather requirements, create specifications, and design solution for network LAN projects.
Supervise and or performing site installs, maintenance, upgrades or software enhancements to support the network infrastructure needs.
Function as a point of escalation for operational entities regarding regular or complex issues.
Monitor system for trouble areas and proactively resolve and document root cause.
Experience working Agile methodologies or working as part of an Agile team.

Salary Range

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
