Sumitomo Electric is seeking a hands-on Network Administrator to join our Information Systems team in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on day-to-day maintenance and support of servers, switches, wireless, firewalls, storage, and end-user devices to keep systems secure, reliable, and current.

You will support users across the organization and partner with the IS team to ensure critical business systems remain available, with a focus on performance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or related field with substantial experience.
• 10 years of relevant experience accepted as alternative.
• Hands-on networking, server, and security administration in a business setting.
• Experience with Windows servers, AD, and enterprise networking.

Responsabilités

• Administer network and infrastructure components including switches, wireless, and firewalls.
• Deploy, manage, and support end-user devices and printers.
• Monitor performance, respond to outages, and apply updates and patches.
• Maintain backups, disaster recovery planning, and security best practices.
• Provide on-site IT support and assist with onboarding/offboarding.
