Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base seeks an Information Technology Specialist (NETWORK) to maintain the base LAN/WAN, implement network configurations, and support secure, reliable connectivity across the Edwards network. IA certification is required, with certification achievable within six months.

This role includes travel up to 25% and adherence to DoD/AF policies to ensure availability and security of critical infrastructure.

Competenze

• 2 years proven experience as network technician with hands-on experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network equipment.
• Hands-on experience with switches, routers, wireless access points, TCP/IP, VLANs, and network monitoring.
• Experience with data center networks and cross-functional collaboration.

Mansioni

• Manage base LAN/WAN systems and install network hardware/software.
• Implement configuration management to optimize connectivity between sites.
• Ensure network operations are documented, secure, and compliant with DoD policies.
• Support daily operations and incident response for network outages.
