Job summary

Cloudflare is hiring for a network/interconnect systems role based in Austin, TX. The team builds and operates the private interconnects that connect enterprise networks to Cloudflare’s global network, enabling services like Magic Transit and Zero Trust.

You will work across multiple languages (Rust, Go, C/C++) and technologies (Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Prometheus, Grafana) to design, deploy, and operate scalable interconnect systems while being on-call for production reliability.

Qualifications

• Systems-level programming experience in Rust, Go, C, or C++.
• Experience building, deploying, and debugging distributed systems.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and operate in a high-scale environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend systems that provision, monitor, and orchestrate private network interconnects at scale.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Network Engineering, and Infrastructure teams on ambitious initiatives.
• Design and implement software across the lifecycle, including docs, code, tests, and deployments.
