Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company seeks a Security Engineer to advance network and infrastructure security. You will help develop frameworks, assess controls, and contribute to security architecture across multiple teams to create a cohesive strategy.

Responsibilities include defining baselines, documenting protection needs, and performing risk assessments using SIEM platforms. Strong Windows and Linux experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of work experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Experience developing and integrating cybersecurity designs for systems and networks.
• Experience documenting and addressing organizational security architecture and systems security engineering requirements.
• Experience defining baseline security requirements and contributing to system security context and CONOPS development.
• Experience documenting protection needs and security controls for information systems and networks.
• Ability to perform security reviews, identify gaps in architecture or controls, and develop security risk management plans.
• Experience using vulnerability scanning tools for operating systems, web applications, and databases.
• Experience working with Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Hands on experience with Windows and Linux, including configuration, maintenance, and system management.

Responsibilities

• Develop security frameworks, maturity models, and roadmaps for network and infrastructure security.
• Collaborate with identity, applications, data, and infrastructure teams to shape security strategy.
• Translate operational requirements into effective security controls.
