Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a Security Engineer to strengthen network and infrastructure security across the organization. You will help develop security recommendations, assess existing controls, and shape modern security architecture.

You will collaborate with identity, applications, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver frameworks, roadmaps, and risk management while applying hands-on Windows and Linux know-how and SIEM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Experience developing and integrating cybersecurity designs for systems and networks.
• Experience documenting security architecture and requirements.
• Experience defining baseline security requirements and contributing to CONOPS development.
• Experience documenting protection needs and security controls for information systems and networks.
• Ability to perform security reviews and develop risk management plans.
• Experience using vulnerability scanning tools for OS, web apps, and databases.
• Translating operational requirements into security controls.
• Experience working with SIEM platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux configurations.

Responsibilities

• Develop security frameworks, maturity models, and roadmaps for network and infrastructure security.
• Collaborate with identity, applications, data, and infrastructure teams to shape security strategy.
• Conduct security reviews and identify gaps in architecture or controls.
• Define baseline security requirements and contribute to CONOPS development.
• Document protection needs and security controls for information systems and networks.
• Assess vulnerabilities using scanning tools across OS, web apps, and databases.
• Translate operational requirements into security controls and measures.
