Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Security Engineer to strengthen network and infrastructure security across the organization. You will help develop security recommendations, assess controls, and contribute to security architecture methodologies.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and participate in frameworks, maturity models, and roadmap planning for security.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 10 years cybersecurity experience.
3+ years in cybersecurity engineering.
Experience documenting security architecture requirements and system security context.
Experience defining baseline security requirements and CONOPS development.
Experience documenting protection needs and security controls for information systems and networks.
Ability to perform security reviews and develop risk management plans.
Experience using vulnerability scanning tools for OS, web apps, and databases.
Translating operational requirements into security controls.
Experience working with SIEM platforms.
Hands-on with Windows and Linux configuration and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Develop security frameworks, maturity models, and roadmaps for network and infrastructure security.
Assess existing controls and contribute to security architecture methodologies.
Collaborate with identity, applications, data, and infrastructure teams to shape a cohesive security strategy.
