Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, is seeking a Security Engineer to strengthen network and infrastructure security across the organization. You will help develop security recommendations, assess controls, and contribute to security architecture methodologies for networked systems.

You will collaborate with identity, applications, data, and infrastructure teams to shape a cohesive security strategy, participate in framework development, and support roadmap planning for security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 10 years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity engineering with network/security design experience.
• Experience documenting security architecture and requirements.
• Knowledge of baseline security requirements and CONOPS.
• Experience with security controls for information systems and networks.
• Ability to perform security reviews and risk management.
• Experience using vulnerability scanning tools for OS, web apps, databases.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and security operations.
• Hands-on Windows and Linux administration and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop security frameworks, maturity models, and roadmaps for network/infrastructure security.
• Collaborate with identity, applications, data, and infrastructure teams to shape security strategy.
• Assess existing controls and contribute to security architecture methodologies.
• Translate operational requirements into security controls.
• Perform security reviews to identify gaps and develop risk management plans.
