Job summary

Partner Company is seeking a senior network engineer to lead migrations, policies, and upgrades across FortiGate and data-center fabrics. This role involves hands-on work with FortiGate HA clusters and FortiOS upgrades within a telecommunications infrastructure environment.

Working within a small, remote team focused on network reliability, you will provide escalation support for complex incidents and guide the resolution of critical infrastructure issues while ensuring continuous data-center

Qualifications

• Experience migrating FortiGate HA clusters (FG-201E to FG-121G).
• Strong networking and firewall expertise required.
• Experience with FortiOS upgrades and policy management.

Responsibilities

• Lead FortiGate HA migration FG-201E to FG-121G.
• Manage security policies, NAT/VIPs, VPN configurations, and FortiOS upgrades.
• Maintain Cisco Nexus 9000 fabric across two data center racks, including vPC health, VLANs, LACP and NX-OS upgrades.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex network and firewall incidents; provide technical guidance.

Job description

• You will lead the migration of the existing FortiGate HA cluster from FG-201E to FG-121G.
• You will manage security policies, NAT/VIPs, VPN configurations, and FortiOS upgrades.

Data Center Network Management:

• You will maintain the Cisco Nexus 9000 switching fabric across two data center racks.
• You will oversee vPC health, VLANs, LACP, and NX-OS upgrades.

Tier 3 Technical Support:

• You will act as the senior escalation point for complex network and firewall incidents.
• You will provide technical guidance and resolve critical infrastructure issues.
