Job summary

TPI Global Solutions is seeking a credential management and infrastructure discovery expert to help secure access across network devices and server environments. You will work with IT teams to maintain up-to-date credential stores, align discovery with maintenance windows, and diagnose complex connectivity issues.

The role requires hands-on scripting in PowerShell or Python and familiarity with CMDB concepts.

Qualifications

• Requires CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with infrastructure discovery or asset scanning tools.
• Familiarity with CMDB concepts and CI classification.
• Background in enterprise-scale environments with diverse device types.
• Experience working within ITIL-aligned processes.
• ServiceNow ITOM Visibility (Discovery) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve credential issues across network devices and servers.
• Manage and validate access to network and hosting environments to ensure complete infrastructure scanning coverage.
• Triage and diagnose connectivity and authentication errors across routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and server platforms.
• Collaborate with network and hosting teams to maintain credential stores and access policies.
• Support service graph connector configurations to ensure proper data flow from infrastructure sources.
• Manage and optimize discovery schedules to align with maintenance windows and scanning requirements.
• Document credential management processes, known infrastructure issues, and resolution procedures.
• Provide SME on network topology, device configurations, and server environments.
• Support ServiceNow Modernization program objectives as needed.

Job description

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve credential issues across network devices and server infrastructure (SNMP, SSH, WMI, WinRM, etc.)
• Manage and validate access to network and hosting environments to ensure complete infrastructure scanning coverage
• Triage and diagnose connectivity and authentication errors across routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and server platforms
• Collaborate with network and hosting teams to maintain accurate credential stores and access policies
• Support service graph connector configurations to ensure proper data flow from infrastructure sources
• Manage and optimize discovery schedules to align with infrastructure maintenance windows and scanning requirements
• Document credential management processes, known infrastructure issues, and resolution procedures
• Provide subject matter expertise on network topology, device configurations, and server environments
• Support the broader ServiceNow Modernization program objectives as needed

Skills:

• CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification
• Scripting Skills in Powershell or Python

• Familiarity with CMDB concepts and configuration item (CI) classification

To Succeed:

• Strong expertise in network infrastructure — routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and related device management
• Strong expertise in server/hosting environments, including:
• Windows Server and Linux/Unix administration
• Hands-on experience with credential management across diverse network and server device types
• Deep understanding of network protocols:
• WMI, WinRM, NetBIOS
• Experience troubleshooting connectivity and authentication issues in enterprise environments
• Familiarity with IP address management, network segmentation, and firewall rules that impact device accessibility
• Ability to work independently, triage infrastructure issues, and escalat appropriately
