Job description

Seeking an experienced Fiber Construction Manager to oversee OSP/ISP fiber builds, splicing, OTDR testing, and utility coordination.

Responsibilities include managing contractors, reviewing design/splice packages, handling POs/invoices, and supporting project tracking and reporting.

Field-based with quarterly in-person meetings.

Key Skills: Fiber splicing, OTDR, NESC/make-ready, utility pole permitting (SPANS/NJUNS), construction crew oversight.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee fiber build projects including splicing and testing.
  2. Coordinate with utility companies and manage permits.
  3. Manage contractors and review project packages.
  4. Handle procurement and invoicing processes.
  5. Track project progress and prepare reports.
Qualifications
  • Experience in fiber splicing and OTDR testing.
  • Knowledge of NESC standards and utility pole permitting.

Location: Hybrid – Indianapolis, IN or Louisville, KY

Duration: 1-Year Contract (Possible Temp-to-Perm)
