Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer II to support ISP/OSP network design, regulatory coordination, and project execution across a geographic area. You will prepare engineering work orders, review designs, and collaborate with vendors and municipalities.

You will handle invoices, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist senior engineers while maintaining accurate records and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5–7 years in telecommunications, engineering, or network planning.
• Proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments.
• Review design prints and redlines; apply corrections for accuracy and construction readiness.
• Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and use tools such as AutoCAD/CAD, Ivaula, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office.
• Process invoices, validate financial documentation, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on project requirements and timelines.
• Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers and update records as needed.
