Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Network Implementation Engineer I to support OSP network design, financial processes, and regulatory coordination across multiple projects. This role collaborates with vendors, city officials, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

You will prepare work orders, review prints, develop designs in 3GIS, and use AutoCAD, Ivaula, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 4–7 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments (FTTN, FTTH, FTTT, etc.).
• Review design prints and redlines; apply corrections to ensure accuracy and construction readiness.
• Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and utilize tools such as AutoCAD/CAD systems, Ivaula, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office.
• Process invoices, validate financial documentation, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on project requirements and timelines.
• Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers and complete record updates as needed.
