Job summary

Forged Fiber is hiring a Network Implementation Engineer II to support ISP/OSP network design, financial processes, and regulatory coordination across projects. You will manage engineering requests within a geographic area, collaborating with vendors, city officials, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience.
• Proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments.
• Review design prints and redlines; ensure construction readiness.
• Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and use tools like AutoCAD, Sitetracker, Netsuite, and Office.
• Process invoices, validate documentation, and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on requirements and timelines.
• Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers and update records as needed.
