Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to design, configure, and maintain enterprise switching and routing infrastructure. This role requires an independent professional who can execute standard installations and configurations with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a larger engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong networking fundamentals, experience with enterprise routing and switching environments, and a proactive approach to documentation and communication.

Required / Mandatory Skills:

• Experience with network engineering, including designing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise switching and routing infrastructure
• Strong understanding of the OSI model, particularly Layers 1-3 (Physical, Data Link, Network)
• Ability to troubleshoot network issues and identify problems at the appropriate OSI layer
• Hands-on experience configuring and installing enterprise switches (9000 series)
• Hands-on experience configuring and installing enterprise routers (8000 series)
• Experience deploying networking equipment at both access and distribution layers
• Ability to work independently and perform standard installations and configurations with minimal guidance
