This company is seeking an experienced Network Architect to join its growing engineering team as a senior technical authority. The role involves designing and architecting advanced enterprise networking solutions, providing technical leadership throughout project delivery, and working across Cisco, Fortinet, and Arista technologies to support complex customer environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and architecture of complex enterprise networking solutions (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Data Center, Cloud Networking).
  • Serve as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert across pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance network designs.
  • Develop high-level and low-level design documentation (HLDs/LLDs).
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and pre-sales teams to scope, position, and present solutions to customers.
  • Provide architectural leadership across routing, switching, wireless, security, and data center networking.
  • Drive best practices in network security, segmentation, and resiliency.
  • Support solution migrations, refreshes, and greenfield deployments.
  • Mentor senior engineers and provide technical governance on customer projects.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and vendor roadmaps.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of progressive networking experience, with 3+ years in an architectural capacity.
  • Experience working within a VAR, MSP, or consulting environment preferred.
  • Proven experience designing multi-site enterprise and data center networks.
  • Strong customer-facing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead whiteboarding sessions and technical workshops.
  • Industry certifications strongly preferred (e.g., CCNP/CCIE, NSE 4–7, Arista ACE).
  • Strong consultative mindset
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, client-driven environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong documentation discipline
  • Strong enterprise architecture experience with Cisco Systems (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR/ASR platforms)
  • Deep knowledge of Arista Networks (EOS, spine-leaf, data center fabrics)
  • Advanced understanding of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VXLAN, EVPN, MPLS
  • Extensive experience with Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
  • Firewall design, segmentation strategy, VPN (IPSec/SSL), SD-WAN
  • Zero Trust and secure access architecture
Desirable Skills:
  • SD-WAN design and implementation
  • Network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible preferred)
  • Cloud networking (AWS/Azure) integration
  • High availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery design
  • Performance optimization and troubleshooting at scale
