Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in the United States to design, implement, and support complex LAN/WAN network solutions for a diverse client base. The role emphasizes designing scalable networks, troubleshooting issues, and delivering comprehensive proposals and documentation.

You will build strong customer relationships, configure routers and switches, and perform system upgrades while aligning solutions with industry best practices and business

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of enterprise LAN/WAN networking experience
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Arista, and Juniper networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, switching, and routing
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols
• Strong knowledge of data centre networking, wireless, VPN, QoS, and MPLS
• Proficiency with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS
• Experience configuring and supporting routers, Catalyst and Nexus switches, and firewalls
• Knowledge of SD‑WAN and next‑generation firewall solutions
• Ability to design and communicate network architectures and technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills
• Strong communication and customer‑facing experience
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, or equivalent
• Commitment to maintaining and updating technical certifications
