Job summary

Intec Select is seeking an experienced Network Architect in the Tampa Bay area to lead enterprise network designs and large-scale transformations using Cisco technologies. The role focuses on high-level architecture, customer workshops, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will deliver HLDs/LLDs, manage SD-WAN/SDA projects, and produce architecture standards while collaborating with customers and peers in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive Cisco Routing & Switching expertise across Catalyst/Nexus
• Strong experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS in enterprise WAN
• Proven mastery of SD-WAN and SDA implementations
• Deep understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Experience leading customer-facing infrastructure projects
• CCNP Enterprise certification; CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure highly desirable
• Familiar with Cisco DNA Center and automation via Python/Ansible/REST
• Experience with VMware NSX or cloud networking
• History working for a Cisco Partner, MSP or IT consultancy

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Network Engineers
• Review existing customer environments and recommend strategic improvements
• Produce technical documentation, architecture standards and best practice guides

Network Architect - Cisco Partner - Tampa Bay Area (Hybrid) - Up to $185,000 Base

We're working with a leading Cisco Partner in the Tampa Bay Area who are continuing to expand their Professional Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Network Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise networking solutions for a diverse portfolio of customers, working with the latest Cisco technologies across complex transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise network architectures across LAN, WAN, Wireless and Data Centre environments
• Lead the technical design and delivery of large-scale network transformation projects
• Develop high and low-level network designs (HLDs & LLDs)
• Provide architectural leadership for Cisco routing, switching and security solutions

Required Experience

• Cisco Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN)
• Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA)
• Strong understanding of network security principles
• Previous experience working for a Cisco Partner, MSP or IT Consultancy
• Experience leading customer-facing infrastructure projects
• CCNP Enterprise
• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (highly desirable)
• DNA Center
• Automation using Python, Ansible or REST APIs
• VMware NSX or cloud networking experience
