Position Overview

Senior Network Engineer to support USPACOM J6 enterprise IT, mission partner interoperability, and Pacific theater operations. The role will focus on modernizing enterprise IT capabilities, strengthening mission partner interoperability, and supporting MPE network engineering activities at JBPH-H.

How the Network Engineer Senior Will Make an Impact

• Plan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.
• Analyze network performance, interoperability, and resiliency needs across mission partner environments.
• Develop and review network designs, implementation plans, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate resolution across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
• Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Education: Technical training, certification(s), or equivalent experience.
• Required Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment.
• Required Technical Skills: network engineering; MPE network design; routing and switching; transport integration; troubleshooting; technical documentation.
• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret.
• Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
• Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments; experience in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders; experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.
• Location: On customer site at JBPH-H.

Compensation

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 – $149,500. Actual compensation will be based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
