General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support USPACOM at JBPH-H. You will play a key role in ensuring mission success through MPE network engineering, secure integration, and operational collaboration.

Your responsibilities include planning and engineering network capabilities, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with various stakeholders. You will also develop technical documentation and provide status updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment.
• Required Technical Skills: network engineering, MPE network design, routing and switching, transport integration.
• Active Secret security clearance required.

Responsibilities

GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Network Engineering activities at JBPH-H, helping modernize enterprise IT capabilities and strengthen mission partner interoperability across the Pacific.

How the Network Engineer Senior Will Make an ImpactPlan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.Analyze network performance, interoperability, and resiliency needs across mission partner environments.Develop and review network designs, implementation plans, diagrams, and technical documentation.Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate resolution across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Requirements

• Technical training/certification(s) and 12+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment (or B.S. in Computer Science and 8+ years of experience)
• Required Technical Skills: network engineering; MPE network design; routing and switching; transport integration; troubleshooting; technical documentation.
• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret.
• Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
• Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.
• Location: On customer site at JBPH-H.
