Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Network Engineer Senior to support USPACOM J6 MPE Network Engineering and enterprise IT modernization on-site at JBPH-H. The role emphasizes secure integration, mission partner interoperability, and cross-team collaboration across the Pacific.

You will analyze performance, draft designs and docs, and coordinate resolution with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and stakeholders. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in network engineering or a BS in Computer Science with 8+ years in DoD/enterprise IT.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to coordinate across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, engineer, and support MPE network capabilities aligned to MPE Network Engineering.
• Analyze network performance, interoperability, and resiliency needs across mission partner environments.
• Develop and review network designs, implementation plans, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and coordinate resolution across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
• Collaborate with USPACOM J6 stakeholders, service components, mission partners, and GDIT team members to resolve technical challenges.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, briefings, status inputs, and recommendations for customer and internal leadership.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Requirements:Technical training/certification(s) and 12+ years of relevant experience supporting the role, mission area, or equivalent DoW/enterprise IT environment (or B.S. in Computer Science and 8+ years of experience)
• Required Technical Skills: network engineering; MPE network design; routing and switching; transport integration; troubleshooting; technical documentation.
• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret.
• Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, technical writing, customer engagement, and ability to coordinate across engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and mission partner teams.
• Preferred Skills: Experience supporting USPACOM, combatant command, service component, or joint/coalition mission environments. Experience working in government site environments and coordinating with military and civilian stakeholders. Experience with mission partner, coalition, tactical, or multi-enclave networking.
• Location: On customer site at JBPH-H.
