Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Network Engineer for the Fort Wainwright Mission Training Complex to support the integration of simulation and C4I systems, and to establish and maintain training networks across classified and unclassified environments.

Responsibilities include designing and implementing WAN/LAN networks, coordinating with external organizations, and configuring equipment for distributed exercises while ensuring security and RMF compliance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in network architecture design, implementation and management.
• DoD 8570.01‑M CE Certification at IAT II and SEC+ required; CCNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement, and oversee classified and unclassified MTC WAN/LAN networks.
• Manage networks owned by external organizations including NIPR, SIPR, and tactical networks.
• Coordinate network design and responsibilities with MTCs, training sites, and external organizations.
• Design network architecture, develop plans, configure equipment, and assist with installation of circuits.
