Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Network Engineer - Level 2 for our Redondo Beach, CA location. The role focuses on design, deployment, and maintenance of networks, interfacing with multiple groups to meet customer requirements, and implementing DISA STIGs.

The position requires a TS clearance with SCI/CI poly eligibility, hands-on experience with L1-L3 networking, Cisco WAN deployments, and Security+ certification. Relocation and diverse benefits are available, with a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree; additional 4 years may substitute for degree.
Active Top Secret clearance required; ability to obtain/maintain SCI and CI Poly before start.
Experience with IP subnetting.
Experience with L1-L3 networking.
Experience with static and dynamic routing protocols.
Knowledge of Cisco Systems networking, including WAN deployments across sites (international).
DISA STIG requirements for network devices.
Security+ certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Design, deployment and maintenance of networks.
Interface with other groups to understand customer network requirements and implement DISA STIGs.
Evaluate vendor products; recommend hardware/software purchases; provide backup recovery; maintain system docs; tune performance; asset management.
Architect and assist in deploying international networks.
Implement Cyber requirements via STIG automation.
Integrate networks/time servers and other network devices.
Assist with lab/development environment product integration.
Help maintain information assurance posture of the system.
Formulate innovative solutions to problems as they arise.
