Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a VMware Systems Architect - Level 3/4 to design and review VMware information systems for a wide range of infrastructure needs. The ideal candidate will have cyber hardening expertise and the ability to guide senior engineers.

Active Top Secret clearance and DoD 8570 certifications are required; the role supports Level 3 or Level 4, with multiple salary bands and opportunities to work on classified environments in a collaborative, Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required at the time of application, and the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and CI Poly prior to start.
• Current Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certification
• Experience with VMware systems
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Classified VMware environments
• Experience operating and managing systems within current applicable information systems cyber compliance standards in closed areas

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, understanding and designing VMware information systems to address infrastructure requirements.
• Lead others in the development of VMware architectures and communicate with project leadership on status.
• This position can be filled at either a level 3 or a level 4.
