Job summary

Triple-S in Puerto Rico is seeking a Network Engineer to ensure stability and integrity of in-house LAN/WAN and wireless networks. You will design, deploy, monitor, and optimize network infrastructure across the organization and collaborate with management on capacity planning.

The role involves configuring servers and end-user devices, maintaining documentation, and ensuring secure, reliable network operations to support the company’s healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 4+ years of related experience, or 7–10+ years in IT telecommunications.
• Experience with LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and network hardware.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management to assess near- and long-term network capacity needs.
• Design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks and related hardware.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot problems as needed.
• Configure and manage servers, workstations, and network devices.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations and service records.
• Ensure network security solutions and vendor coordination.
