Job summary

Community Impact Foundation in Meridian, ID is seeking a contract Network Engineer to implement scalable Intune-based management and secure network operations. The role demands 4 years of Microsoft Intune experience and a hands-on IT mindset, with a strong focus on reliability and security.

You will replace legacy Group Policy with scalable solutions, build self-service tooling, develop RESTful APIs, migrate on-prem to cloud-native architectures, and help trim cloud costs from Meridian.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Microsoft Intune experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on IT experience with strong instincts.
• Familiarity with Group Policy and ITIL Foundation.
• Experience working with contract teams.

Responsibilities

• Replace brittle Group Policy hacks with scalable network troubleshooting.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD infrastructure across ID engineering teams.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization flows.
• Translate napkin ideas into flexible prototype solutions.
• Build self-service tools to reduce ticket volume for Meridian teams.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs powering core Foundation products.
• Right-size cloud infrastructure to reduce Meridian cloud costs.
• Support migration of on-premise services to cloud-native architectures.
