Job summary

Compugeddon CC t/a CGTech is seeking a Network Engineer - Level 2 to provide second-line support, analyze networks, design solutions, and support local and remote sites. Responsibilities include WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, and CLI-based management, with on-site weekly duties and close client coordination.

The ideal candidate holds CCNA/CCNP certifications and Juniper/Ubiquity credentials, with hands-on experience in network monitoring and incident response.

Qualifications

• CCNA and CCNP certifications are required.
• Juniper and Ubiquity certifications are preferred.
• Experience with WAN/LAN, routers, firewalls, VPN, DNS/DHCP and CLI-based device management.

Responsibilities

• Technical support for networking including WAN/LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, wireless and security.
• Remote access solution implementation and support such as IPSEC VPN.
• Respond to and resolve alerts and tickets from monitoring systems in a timely fashion.
• Maintain configuration information in the ticketing system and communicate with customers about progress.
• Escalate issues needing engineer-level support to prevent SLA breaches.
