Job summary

ICW Group in San Diego is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage the company’s network architecture across LAN/WAN, MPLS, VoIP, and data center components. You will work with security teams to mitigate risks and maintain high availability in a multi-vendor environment.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience, CCNA or JNCIA certification, and a strong command of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VMware ESX, and Windows/Linux systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CCNA or JNCIA certification required; CCNP or JNCIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, configures, and supports networking devices.
• Provides 3rd Tier technical support for internal customers.
• Provides problem resolution for network performance and related issues.
• Directs day‑to‑day technical tasks for network operations.
• Collaborates with IT Security to assess and mitigate network risks.
• Designs and implements network architecture and technologies.
• Assists with budget planning and procurement of networking hardware/software.
