CBTS is seeking a Level 2 Operations Engineer based in Tennessee. The role entails providing expertise in Cisco networking for large enterprise LAN and WAN clients, with responsibilities including troubleshooting and design of firewall solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience with EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and cloud technologies including AWS and Azure. A CCNA or CCNP certification is required.
Provide Level 2 operations engineering expertise to large, complex enterprise LAN and WAN clients in predominantly Cisco networking environments.
In-depth Routing Protocols experience and operational knowledge: EIGRP, OSPF & BGP.
Strong understanding and knowledge of SDWAN, F5 LTM/GTM, VMWare Avi, Azure & AWS Cloud and Aviatrix.
Design and deployment‑Architect and deploy enterprise‑scale firewall solutions using Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
Hands‑on experience with troubleshooting, packet capture, monitoring, network diagnostic and analytics tools, and network performance analysis to prepare improvement plans.
Review scripting, planning and execution of network change management processes; investigate issues/ incidents and bring to resolution within SLA parameters.
Working with incident, problem, and change management; provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to operations team and customers upon request.
CCNA/CCNP Certification.
4‑year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering; or
Three years of college or technical school resulting in an associate’s degree or equivalent.
