Jovian Concepts, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer Level 2 in the San Antonio, TX area. The role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading network infrastructures to support critical national security missions.

Candidates must hold a current TS/SCI clearance with Maryland polygraph approval and have substantial network engineering experience. Travel to MD may be required occasionally, with comprehensive benefits and a strong focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS or related field and 6 years of network engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field plus 8 years total experience in network engineering.
• Alternate: 12 years total with a cert (Arista, Cisco, or Juniper tracks) in lieu of degrees.
• IAT II baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of networks.
• Provide hands-on support for hardware issues and network incidents.
• Translate business requirements intoLAN/CAN/WAN telecom designs and orders.
