Job summary

3MD Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise networks across the client environment. You will manage routing, switching, security, and VoIP, delivering daily operational support and strategic project leadership.

The role requires experience with Cisco/Juniper/Foundry equipment, strong documentation skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while coordinating customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as a network engineer or manager in IT.
• Cisco/Juniper/Foundry gear experience; certifications a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN, security, and wireless.
• Experience with network monitoring and ITIL framework.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide network administration, installation, maintenance, and coordination.
• Plan, install, and maintain network equipment and security devices.
• Assist in data center installs; provision ports and cabling; ensure secure LAN/WAN.
• Lead projects, coordinate resources, and suggest improvements to services.
• Document networks and mentor junior staff; act as technical lead when needed.
