Qualifications

• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Irvine, CA.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support and optimize enterprise network infrastructure in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Cisco networking technologies, SD-WAN environments, and Network Operations Center (NOC) support, along with a solid understanding of routing, switching, and the OSI model.

Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Management

• Design, deploy, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity, performance, and hardware issues.
• Implement and maintain LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN solutions.

Network Operations & Support

• Provide support for Network Operations Center (NOC) activities and incident response.
• Perform root cause analysis and remediation of network outages and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and operational initiatives.
• Participate in network maintenance activities, upgrades, and change management processes.

Routing & Switching

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching environments.
• Support Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3 networking technologies and protocols.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with network security and operational best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to network architecture and performance.
• Assist with capacity planning, technology upgrades, and infrastructure modernization efforts.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong experience with:
• Cisco Routing and Switching
• SD-WAN technologies
• Network Operations Center (NOC) environments
• Routing, Switching, and OSI Layers 1-3
• Network troubleshooting and performance analysis
• Experience supporting LAN/WAN network environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Irvine, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Aruba and/or Juniper networking solutions.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
