Job summary

CFS in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across a multi-site healthcare environment. The role focuses on migrating from Extreme Networks to Aruba, optimizing routing and switching, and creating architecture documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and supporting enterprise networking environments.
• Strong routing, switching, wireless networking, TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience implementing and supporting Aruba wireless networking solutions.
• Experience with Extreme Networks infrastructure and wireless technologies.
• Experience performing network assessments, upgrades, and infrastructure refresh projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within complex network environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise wired and wireless networking solutions.
• Analyze network performance and identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and increased reliability.
• Lead technical efforts associated with network refresh and modernization projects.
• Support the migration from Extreme Networks wireless infrastructure to Aruba wireless solutions.
• Configure and optimize routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and wireless technologies.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex network issues.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Systems teams to ensure highly available network services.
• Create and maintain network architecture documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Utilize SolarWinds and other monitoring platforms to proactively identify performance trends and risks.
• Participate in on-call support and major incident response activities.
