Vibrint seeks a Network Engineer - Technical Expert to support the HPC program, focusing on multi-vendor HPC servers, clusters, and specialized processing environments.

The role requires designing, deploying, and securing data center networks, with on-call responsibilities and collaboration across teams to deliver high-availability infrastructure for national security workloads. Active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline required.
• Minimum ten years of demonstrable experience in LAN network engineering, architecture, monitoring, security, and protection; or fifteen years in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.
• Datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC VPNs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain datacenter networks supporting HPC environments.
• Install/configure Cisco routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, routing, and L2/L3 protocols in live environments.
• Provide on-call support and incident response using Remedy or similar ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with multi-vendor engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable HPC infrastructure.

As a Network Engineer - Technical Expert on this program, you will help deliver enhanced HPC capabilities across multi-vendor HPC servers, HPC clusters, and specialized processing environments. Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.

Required Skills:

• MUST HAVE datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and IPSEC virtual private networks
• Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
• Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing and switching protocols. Strong working knowledge of L2/L3 protocols. Strong working knowledge of stateful firewalls, and L3 access controls. Working knowledge of Atlassian Tool Suite. Able to support on-call requirements. Able to work in live call environment and utilize remedy and/or other ticketing system to track tasking.
