Custom Computer Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Professional Services Team and support a variety of network projects for clients in the Tri-State Area and beyond.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and clients to implement, configure, troubleshoot, and support network solutions. The role requires 2–5 years in networking, CCNA preferred, and a foundation in TCP/IP, switching, VLANs, wireless, DNS, DHCP, and firewall concepts.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of networking/IT infrastructure experience.
• CCNA or equivalent networking certification preferred.
• Foundational networking concepts: TCP/IP, switching, VLANs, wireless, DNS, DHCP, firewall.
• Experience configuring, supporting, or troubleshooting network technologies.
• Exposure to Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Extreme, Fortinet, Palo Alto or similar platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites across the Tri-State Area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of current networking technologies and industry practices.
• Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and support network infrastructure.
• Follow established standards, guidelines, and project methodologies.
• Assist with network assessments, design activities, and BOMs.
• Install, upgrade, and document network solutions on client sites.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
